CedarStone is an award-winning, native-owned design-build firm specializing in mass timber and prefabricated building systems. We design and construct high-performance homes and community buildings that balance beauty, sustainability, and long-term value.
As a collaborative team of designers, builders, and craftspeople, we use mass timber and prefabrication strategically—combining architectural intent with construction expertise to deliver thoughtful, resilient housing solutions.

CedarStone is powered by a collaborative team of architects, designers, and builders, supported by logistics specialists, prefabrication crews, and field installation professionals who work closely across every phase of a project.
We bring together diverse backgrounds and perspectives, uniting technical expertise with human-centered design. Our team values craftsmanship, collaboration, and shared responsibility, ensuring every mass timber building we deliver is thoughtful, resilient, and built to last.
FOUNDER / CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR | S.H.P., C.E.T
Cueyo Cataldo
Cueyo is a First Nations craftsman builder with deep expertise in mass timber construction and sustainable building systems. He holds two degrees in Construction Engineering and is a certified Sustainable Homes Professional through Earth Advantage.
His experience spans hands-on construction, hempcrete building methods, and participation in Indigenous housing prototype initiatives, where he gained firsthand insight into delivering culturally responsive, high-performance housing solutions. Cueyo brings a practical, solutions-driven perspective that ensures CedarStone’s projects are both visionary and buildable.

Adrienne Fainman
Adrienne is an architect specializing in organic architecture and the relationship between humans and the natural world. Her work is rooted in holistic sustainability, biophilic design, and innovative housing solutions.
She has worked under the mentorship of Indigenous Architect Douglas Cardinal and has led projects ranging from community planning and land-use assessments to innovative housing solutions for First Nations communities and populations most affected by climate change. Adrienne holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, as well as a Bachelor of Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Winnipeg.
